Jae graduated from the Waikato Polytechnic Media Arts degree in 2000, majoring in Graphic Design. After which he worked as a webmaster / webdesigner, heading the internet arm of a small graphic design firm. He then spent time in Canada and has since returned to his homeland New Zealand. Jae has been around computers and game consoles ever since he can remember and his love of both video games and webdesign lead him to found Gameboyee as an ongoing project. Other interests include music (as he plays in a metal band Misled By Lies), vegetarian cooking, and is also an avid fan of Japanese anime.

Michael has just graduated from the University of Otago, receiving a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science. At present he is trying to figure out exactly what is supposed to happen after living the wonderful, if somewhat cold and hungry, life of a student. Until he does figure out the next step he will spend his time sleeping, working part-time (only part-time due to the excessive sleeping) and contributing to Gameboyee. His rather geeky interests include retro video games, messing with computers, Japanese anime, and a strange obsession with Transformer toys... they're more than meets the eyes.
